We celebrated the Winter Solstice a couple days ago on Dec 21st, which is known as the beginning of YULE in the Wheel of the Year.
Land Acknowledgement
I Acknowledge with respect and gratitude that the land that I live and work on is traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. I also acknowledge that Toronto (Tkaronto) is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit, and the Williams Treaty.
